Medication Treatments

Pharmacological approaches to pain management

1

NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs)

NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, naproxen, and celecoxib reduce inflammation and pain by blocking enzymes that produce prostaglandins. They are commonly used for arthritis, muscle pain, and post-operative pain management.

2

Opioid Analgesics

Opioids like morphine, oxycodone, and tramadol work by binding to opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord to reduce pain perception. They are reserved for severe pain when other treatments are insufficient.

3

Muscle Relaxants

Medications such as cyclobenzaprine, baclofen, and tizanidine help relieve muscle spasms and associated pain. They work by acting on the central nervous system to reduce muscle tension.

4

Anticonvulsants for Pain

Drugs like gabapentin and pregabalin are effective for neuropathic pain. They work by modulating calcium channels in nerve cells, reducing the transmission of pain signals.

5

Antidepressants for Pain

Tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline) and SNRIs (duloxetine) can help manage chronic pain by affecting neurotransmitters involved in pain modulation, particularly for neuropathic conditions.

6

Topical Analgesics

Creams, gels, and patches containing lidocaine, capsaicin, or diclofenac provide localized pain relief. They are ideal for joint pain, muscle aches, and neuropathic pain with minimal systemic effects.

Injection Therapies

High-precision injections performed under ultrasound and/or C-arm fluoroscopy guidance for optimal accuracy and safety

1

Epidural Steroid Injections

Corticosteroids are injected into the epidural space around spinal nerves to reduce inflammation. Effective for sciatica, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and radiculopathy.

2

Facet Joint Injections

Anti-inflammatory medication is injected directly into the facet joints of the spine. These small joints can become arthritic and painful, causing neck or back pain.

3

Sacroiliac Joint Injections

Injections targeting the sacroiliac joint where the spine meets the pelvis. Effective for lower back pain and buttock pain caused by SI joint dysfunction.

4

Nerve Blocks

Anesthetic and/or steroid injections that block pain signals from specific nerves. Types include occipital nerve blocks for headaches, stellate ganglion blocks, and peripheral nerve blocks.

5

Trigger Point Injections

Local anesthetic or saline is injected into painful muscle knots (trigger points). Effective for myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, and tension headaches.

6

Joint Injections (Knee, Hip, Shoulder)

Corticosteroids or hyaluronic acid injected into major joints to reduce inflammation and improve lubrication. Commonly used for osteoarthritis and joint injuries.

7

Bursa Injections

Injections into inflamed bursae (fluid-filled sacs) around joints. Effective for bursitis in the shoulder, hip, knee, and elbow.

8

Tendon Sheath Injections

Corticosteroid injections around tendons to reduce inflammation. Used for conditions like De Quervain's tenosynovitis, trigger finger, and tennis elbow.

High-Precision Image-Guided Injections

All our injection procedures are performed under real-time imaging guidance using ultrasound and/or C-arm fluoroscopy. This advanced technology ensures maximum precision, optimal needle placement, and enhanced patient safety for superior treatment outcomes.

Regenerative Medicine

Advanced biological therapies for tissue repair and rejuvenation

1

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy

Patient's blood is processed to concentrate platelets containing growth factors (PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF). PRP promotes tissue healing for tendon injuries, arthritis, muscle damage, and hair restoration. The concentrated platelets release cytokines that stimulate cell proliferation and tissue regeneration.

2

Stem Cell Therapy

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) harvested from bone marrow or adipose tissue are injected to promote tissue regeneration. These multipotent cells can differentiate into cartilage, bone, and connective tissue. Used for degenerative joint disease, cartilage damage, and disc degeneration.

3

Secretome Therapy

The secretome contains all bioactive factors secreted by stem cells including growth factors, cytokines, exosomes, and extracellular vesicles. It provides the regenerative benefits of stem cells without the cells themselves, offering anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and tissue repair properties.

4

Ozone Therapy

Medical-grade ozone (O3) gas is injected to reduce inflammation, improve oxygenation, and stimulate healing. Ozone activates antioxidant pathways, improves microcirculation, and has antimicrobial properties. Used for disc herniation, joint pain, and chronic conditions.

5

Intradiscal Regeneration

Regenerative substances (PRP, stem cells, secretome, or growth factors) are injected directly into damaged intervertebral discs. This promotes disc matrix regeneration, reduces inflammation, and can restore disc height and function.

6

Prolotherapy

Dextrose or other irritant solutions are injected into damaged ligaments or tendons to stimulate the body's natural healing response. Effective for chronic ligament laxity, joint instability, and chronic pain.

7

Amniotic Membrane Injections

Processed amniotic tissue containing growth factors, cytokines, and hyaluronic acid is injected to promote healing. Rich in collagen and extracellular matrix components for joint and tendon repair.

Aesthetic Medicine

Advanced treatments for facial rejuvenation and aesthetics

1

Botox (Botulinum Toxin) for Pain

Botulinum toxin injections block nerve signals that cause muscle contractions. Used therapeutically for chronic migraines, cervical dystonia, TMJ disorders, and muscle spasticity. Also effective for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

2

Botox for Facial Aesthetics

Botulinum toxin is injected into facial muscles to reduce dynamic wrinkles. Treats forehead lines, crow's feet, frown lines, and bunny lines. Results typically last 3-4 months with minimal downtime.

3

Secretome Facial Rejuvenation

Stem cell secretome is applied to the face through microneedling or injection to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and enhance overall skin quality. The growth factors promote cellular renewal and skin regeneration.

4

PRP Facial (Vampire Facial)

Platelet-rich plasma is applied to the face through microneedling or injection. The growth factors stimulate collagen production, improve skin tone and texture, reduce acne scars, and promote a youthful appearance.

5

Mesotherapy for Face

Microinjections of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid are delivered into the mesoderm layer of the skin. Improves skin hydration, reduces fine lines, and provides a radiant, refreshed appearance.

Interventional Procedures

Minimally invasive techniques for chronic pain

1

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)

Heat generated by radio waves destroys nerve fibers carrying pain signals. Provides long-lasting relief (6-12 months) for facet joint pain, sacroiliac pain, and peripheral nerve pain.
